I know the federated social web from the begining. I remember identi.ca kind of competitor of twitter becoming status.net. that become GnuSocial But the first big project that still exists today is friendi.ca The pioneers was Ivan Prodromou and Mike Macgirvin
Anyway today the fediverse has an history and we have many software to install if we like to be sovereign we should have technical skills. Installing a server, making it uptodate and managing it is not so easy.
How to install such server in a share hosting web? It was not really possible. Huge data is stored.
One day I read ActivityPub Server in a Single PHP File
As I wanted to know more I keep the link and later try it. first try was on yunohost. But the result was not ok. The second try was on a share hosting server. And the result was better. This page of code was the only things we need to have a fediverse id and communicate with the fediverse. Of course this page was not ready to be in production. It was only as an example or proof of concept.
Last week I was motivated to dive in that code and had the idea to improve a little bit to make it more usable. That was the story how picosocial starts. Now the code is not ready to be shared but soon I like to publish it. First I want to know if it is usable by someone else. The goal is to have a simple small activitypub server with one account. The idea is that server keep only data for a short period. I noticed that on the fediverse once a message is published the value of the data diminushed quickly. After one week it is old. So if we keep few days we a small server can be used. let's say 100M And automatic cleaning is in progress .... if you are curious, If you like to test it with me. you can add my account @social25@social25.aga.ovh
This account is temporary if you read this article after february 2026 it could gone.

La Tine de Conflens, Vaudois dialect signifying the fall of the confluences, is the place of the confluence of the Venoge and Veyron in the village of Ferreyres. We can admire two falls, the Veyron announcing the beginning of the gorge and that of Venoge, the first to inflate the waters of the latter. A steep but maintained path allows you to go down into the gorge to find yourself at the foot of the falls. A little known and undeveloped cave is located next to the fall of the Venoge. It is however easily accessible and shallow.

On this blog article Terence Eden explains the basics of Activitypub with an example of one page of code.. Start with a domain or a subdomain, just configure few lines upload the code and test it. It should work. I try it. I didn't work the first time. I didn't have time to know why. I found the code that leads a blank page. I comment it. That would give me a start to implement ActivityPub in retilo. That would be really nice to receive comments from other AP account. Of course that leads to lot of work but interesting work. Starting by adding comment or RSS streams to nomadic identity.

To build a portfolio for weekly dividend income, combine stocks and ETFs with staggered payment schedules, focusing on monthly payers, high-yield boosters, and strong quarterly giants. This approach can provide nearly weekly cash flow, especially when diversified across sectors and payment dates.
Realty Income (O) : REIT with monthly payments from commercial properties, offering stable income.
Stag Industrial (STAG) : Monthly payer specializing in industrial and logistics warehouses.
EPR Properties (EPR) : Focuses on entertainment venues and pays monthly dividends.
AGNC Investment (AGNC) : A high-yield monthly payer, though it is more volatile due to its focus on mortgage-backed securities.
Prospect Capital (PSEC) : Provides high monthly yields as a business development company.
Main Street Capital (MAIN) : Monthly payments with periodic special dividends.
Pembina Pipeline (PBA) : Reliable Canadian energy stock with monthly dividends.
Coca-Cola (KO) : Quarterly dividends, usually early each quarter.
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) : Quarterly, generally paid mid-quarter.
McDonald’s (MCD) : Quarterly, payment often late in the quarter.
PepsiCo (PEP) : Another major quarterly payer, payment typically doesn’t overlap with the others listed above.
Consider leading diversified dividend ETFs (like SPDR S&P Global Dividend Aristocrats UCITS ETF or comparable top-yielding ETF products), as they pay quarterly and balance any single company’s cuts or schedule shifts.
By combining these 12 entities with their varied dividend schedules, you can structure a portfolio that produces frequent, often weekly, dividend payments throughout the month. Reinvesting these dividends over time strengthens your overall yield and cash flow reliability.
Most importantly, achieving true weekly cash flow depends less on high yield and more on the deliberate staggering of payment dates—so meticulous calendar planning and periodic review are required.
